Now onto the meatier grits... I mean the media bits!
So-shell media... what a whirlwind of an online world we live in today. Though the gift of technology is magic, I feel like it's so easy to live a zombie - a slave to that shellevision screen. The web has SO many wonderful things - infinite knowledge at our fingertips, the ability to support creativity flourishing, memes, cute doggos! But sometimes you forget the substance, and it can all seem so dark. Misinformation, hatred, and shallowness lay in the shadows - happy to being prevalent as you search for distraction trained into you by curated algorithms.
Never in my life did I think that I would have the honor of turning my knack for rapscallion tomfoolery into a career - but low and behold (thank you for the perfect quaranstream storm) turning to the internet has turned my passion for music into a thriving career - and for that I am heaps grateful... but sometimes it's so easy for platforms like Facebook and Instagram to leave your brain feeling a scattered mess.
I guess what I'm saying is sometimes I feel like I walk the line between artist and content creator, and it pains me to ever think what I'm putting on the table is not of substance - but man when I cater to the big so-shell media giants things can feel so shallow. I put my whole heart into everything I do - and I want it to show. So I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm gunna try to start an blog - so those who want to and aren't sick of my livestreams can savour snippets of my synapses. You are now tuned into my tiny tangents - I can't promise that I'll be consistent but it's a start isn't it?
